Next patch… As suggested, when a player ascends it will add an Ascension notification (similar to Cheer & Subscription notifications) in the top right corner. Like other notifications, it will be delayed if the emulator is receiving input. It will play a unique sound ascension sound effect when displayed, and highlight a player ascending and which Hidden Skill they receive. Please let me know if you notice any bugs or issues – I had to rewrite portions of the existing MessageBox code to accomplish this.(edited)

Going along with this, the concept of cheer emotes being “usurped” is gone. Cheer Messages now have a queue, and even when the emulator is receiving input, all Cheer Mesages (this includes all of highlighted messages with both channel points and bits, subs, and prestige ascensions) will play out in order they are received when messages can be played again. (The only time a message might be lost is at tournament end). This may be problematic when someone mass gifts or something but I can adjust it as needed. Let me know ASAP if you discover any bugs in #bug-reports , including but not limited to a message being lost, all messages stop functioning, etc.(edited)
