Changed the display screen again… 
The original sum on the end of battle screen should now take into account if you bought a skill after betting, but won’t add bounties/gilgame winnings anymore. Which means the “new balance” number may not match the gain/loss amount in these situations. But this fixes the problem of people “gaining money just to lose it” if they’re at the floor.
